Questions from the Internet
1. I’m in the middle of paying off my debts. I have a one month emergency account. It’s going to take me about another 12 months to finish getting out of debt. There’s a conference coming up in about 6 months that I really want to go to. The tickets are normally $350 and I would be able to save that in time to buy the tickets. But they have a ticket special right now where I can buy the ticket for just $150. The special ends next week but I didn’t plan to be buying conference tickets in my budget this month. Should I buy the tickets now with my emergency account or should I wait and save up the full price amount?
2. I just got laid off from work 2 weeks ago. I haven’t found a new job yet. My wife has been a stay at home mom for a few years and we don’t have anything in savings. I have an idea for a business but don’t know if I should start it or what to do. What are your thoughts?
